Bank of America x Boston Marathon
Leading up to the 2026 Boston Marathon, the marathon’s main sponsor, Bank of America, wanted to create a series of mini-documentaries highlighting emotive stories of three runners raising money for local charities. (See below for additional two films)
I produced, directed and edited three films as well as social cutdowns in close collaboration with the Boston’s Globe’s Studio B and the ad agency GroupeConnect. With our nimble team of filmmakers we bopped around New England, from beach sunrises to chemo treatments we captured interviews, day-in-the-life broll, running footage, and moments with the various charities.
The powerful stories of Anne, Isabelle and Alex often brought us to tears and we hope the final films do their stories justice and encourage others to raise money and/or donate to the important organizations that Bank of America supports through the Boston Marathon’s fundraising efforts.
