It was a seemingly simple gesture - raise two jerseys at Gillette Stadium in remembrance of a teammate and an honorary captain who passed away within five days of each other in 2008. However, it would take six years, two state championships, the support of a small community and an unwavering focus spurred on by a culture of brotherhood and a vision of a goal far greater than any one game.
